Amy Presti, MD, MSCR
Neonatologist

Dr. Presti is a well-respected neonatologist that brings a great deal of clinical expertise to our team and leads several important and on-going clinical studies. Recently, Dr. Presti led the effort to form the Atlantic Fetal and Diagnostic Treatment Center (AFDTC) at Atlantic Health System, a unique and collaborative team of obstetric, fetal, neonatal and pediatric experts that coordinates care for mothers and babies that may require specialized care; she remains the Co-Director of the AFDTC. Dr. Presti is the Medical Director of the Special Care Nursery at St. Clare’s Hospital and serves on both the Obstetric and Pediatric Quality and Safety Committees at Morristown Medical Center. She is also the sole neonatology representative on the Newborn Nursery Committee at Goryeb Children’s Hospital; an important team that ensures newborn care is consistent and effective across many hospitals.

Dr. Presti runs an Antibiotic Stewardship Program in the NICU; a comprehensive effort to collect and analyze data, in order to answer research questions, optimize the use of antibiotics and enhance clinical outcomes. She is also actively conducting studies to improve outcomes for infants with Neonatal Abstinence Syndrome.
