The NICU never sleeps. Our neonatologists are available 24/7 for consultation and transport. We are accessible around the clock for discussion of clinical problems and management decisions. We can also help other physicians, at the bedside, determine if a baby requires transfer to a higher-level facility for access to more intensive care. The MANA Neonatal Transport Team transports infants throughout the state and region. The transport team is tailored to a baby’s specific needs; it may include neonatologists, pediatric resident physicians, neonatal nurse practitioners, physician assistants, neonatal nurses, and respiratory therapists. Our team is adept in managing every neonatal emergency and utilizes state-of-the-art mobile ICU ambulances and equipment.
