Dr. Murphy is recognized as an innovator in the field of neonatology for his work in patient quality and safety. As the Director of Neonatal Quality and Safety at MANA, he tracks patient safety data and outcomes, and he coordinates improvement efforts. He is also the Co-Chair of the Pediatric Quality and Safety Committee at Atlantic Health System. Dr. Murphy is a compassionate physician that puts the needs of our patients and families first and provides ethical guidance in the NICU.
Dr. Murphy also collaborates on several quality and safety projects with neonatology teams from other hospitals and universities. These multi-site initiatives will lead to clinical consensus in the field and improve outcomes for neonates. Dr. Murphy is a Co-Director of neoFORUM.
