Ms. Merendino is a veteran practitioner at MANA; who has had the pleasure of caring for babies for nearly 25 years. Ms. Merendino is keenly interested in delivery room resuscitation and is an instructor for the Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP). She also enjoys teaching and provides an NRP supplement and reinforcement class for RN’s and other hospital staff instrumental in the resuscitation of newborns. She is passionate about Family Centered Care and spending time with parents.
As part of her mission to provide the best patient care possible, Ms. Merendino has served on many NICU committees. At present, she is part of the Practitioner Leadership Team, serving as the Site Representative at Overlook Medical Center. Her primary goal in this role, is to facilitate communication and education between the NICU, labor & delivery, and newborn nursery staff, in order to improve the patient and patient-family experience. Ms. Merendino recently earned a master’s degree in Family Practice. When not caring for babies, Ms. Merendino enjoys music, travel, yoga and spending time with her husband and three children.
