Dr. Gluck is also heavily engaged in educational and training activities at MANA. She is the Physician Liaison for our Advanced Neonatal Practitioners and frequently lectures at nursing education events. She serves on several residency committees at Goryeb Children’s Hospital and is a case preceptor for individual medical students.
Dr. Gluck has participated in several important research projects, including, a recent study aimed at understanding the role of naturally-occurring hormones in regulating the severity of necrotizing enterocolitis. Currently, she is leading an initiative to monitor and reduce unplanned extubations in the NICU; and a project to assess the safety and efficacy of using oral glucose gel for the prevention and treatment of neonatal hypoglycemia.
