ROP Updates: Intravitreal Avastin® and Telemedicine

A dinner lecture that focused on the pathophysiology of severe retinopathy of prematurity (ROP), and discussed the current best practices to manage severe ROP, including photocoagulation.  Topics also included: novel practices to manage severe ROP, including intravitreal bevacizumab, and the role of telemedicine in facilitating the diagnosis and management of severe retinopathy.
